TANAP joined the Oil and Gas Methane Partnership (OGMP 2.0), the flagship oil and gas reporting and mitigation programme of the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP).

The Oil & Gas Methane Partnership (OGMP) 2.0, developed by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), is the flagship global reporting and mitigation initiative for the oil and gas sector. OGMP 2.0 is the only comprehensive, measurement-based reporting framework that enhances the accuracy, transparency, and credibility of methane emissions reporting across the industry.

TANAP is proud to announce that it has become the first organization in Türkiye to join UNEP’s OGMP 2.0 initiative. This voluntary commitment marks a significant milestone and reflects TANAP’s strong dedication to reliable methane measurement, transparent and verifiable reporting, and the implementation of effective emission reduction actions. Through its participation in OGMP 2.0, TANAP reaffirms its commitment to contributing responsibly to national and global climate action efforts.
